An evening of tea, stillness, and the secret nightlife of bees.
[ Teas with Bees ]
Teas with Bees begins in the space between things — between daylight and dusk, between gathering and stillness, between the hum of the city and the hum of the hive.
We start by coming together as a group, grounding into the space, and a tasting of local foraged honey. From there, we move into a tea ceremony shaped by intuition and the season — no fixed script, just flowing with what the moment calls for. We might settle into stillness as we connect with the spirit of the tea.
The tea ceremony concludes with a brief guided meditation, easing the mind into a quieter state before we walk toward the apiary. Then, under the night sky, we sit close to the hives and witness bees at night — a side of their world almost no one gets to see. They move with quiet purpose, unaware of us, and there's something grounding in being let into that world, briefly, on their terms rather than ours.
By the time the evening ends, something has shifted — not dramatically, just enough to remember what it feels like to slow down and connect with nature. This is the true gift from the hive – reminding us that we all move as one.
